I will be hosting a Reiki share on Sunday from 1:30-4:00 pm.  The share is open to anyone who has been attuned to Reiki.  Please contact me if you wish to join us and I will provide you with location information, directions etc.  If there is someone you wish to have the wonderful healing energies of Reiki sent to, please email me before Sunday's share and we will send them distant healing. There is nothing more exciting than your first encounter with Reiki and taking your first course.  It seems so incredibly simple and easy.  The beauty of Reiki is that anyone can do it.  What is not so simple is integrating it into your every day life.  It can be difficult, especially when it is all new, to blend the learnings and do the work you need to do on yourself, as well, come to terms with your forever changed perceptions.  It is so easy to get caught up in the everyday aspects of life- of course the happy parts are easy.  The challenges are the conflicts, the upsets, the hurts.  It is easy for our habitual responses to kick in. Eventually, if we slip, we find ourselves wondering if any of the Reiki stuff is working! The great news is, once attuned to Reiki, you will have it for life.  It is like anything else though, it takes practice and mindfully going through your day.  Let go and allow. Ahh, Spring is in the air!  Over the past week with the sun shining, the snow melting, the smell of spring in the air (it really does smell sweet!), one feels the sense of renewal.  Garden plans fill my mind!   As well, it is time to dust off the books for more Reiki Training. LEVEL I:  Saturday April 18th  Level II:   Sunday April 19th .   REGISTRATION DEADLINE:     Wednesday April 8th.   (Note: if you wish to register after this date, please contact me in case of cancellations.) Summary of the Class: This Reiki Level I training is one of the most thorough and comprehensive available. The class is delivered using William Rand, International Centre for Reiki Training Manual and techniques. It is a combination of the Western and Japanese style of Reiki. On completion of the class, you will be able to give Reiki treatments to yourself. The 8 hour, one day class,is a combination of lecture, discussion, demonstration and practice time. Each student experiences giving and receiving a complete treatment using Byosen scanning and the hand placement system. With Fall in full swing- cooling down and less light- it is a good time to start thinking inwardly.  Time to say 'whew', the busyness of summer is over, now what am I going to do for Me!  (Before the next busy season is before us- shhh- the "C" word.) I will be offering Usui Reiki courses in November for all levels.  I am currently looking into a facility that can accommodate the classes and will be posting class schedules and times shortly. For those who would love to take 45 minutes or an hour just for your own well being and pampering- I am available for appointments. I will be providing treatments to anyone who is interested on Wednesdays between 4:00 pm- 8:00 pm at this location.  You do not have to be a client of Health for Life Medical Centre to book an appointment.
